Today I'm incredibly excited to share that Opsansa has been acquired by Verifast, the industry-leading AI-powered Verification-as-a-Service platform. This marks a pivotal moment not just for our company, but for the entire multifamily industry as we work together to build truly autonomous leasing operations.

When we started Opsansa, our vision was simple but ambitious: eliminate the repetitive, time-consuming tasks that keep property management teams buried in administrative work instead of building relationships with residents. We believed that AI could do more than just automate individual tasks—it could orchestrate entire workflows, acting as an intelligent agent that handles complexity autonomously and uses unique system architecture to give decision makers their time back.

Now, by joining forces with Verifast, we're positioned to realize that vision at scale.

Why Verifast? Why now?

Verifast has built something remarkable—a screening platform that residents actually trust, with over 10,000 reviews on TrustPilot and a 4.2-star rating. They've won the IMN SFR Award for AI Application of the Year, and they've proven they can deliver instant approvals on identity, income, employment, and complex conditional requirements across all 50 states. But what excited me most was their commitment to going beyond screening to create a true end-to-end AI leasing ecosystem.

This acquisition isn't about bolting our technology onto an existing platform. It's about fundamentally reimagining what's possible when you combine deep verification expertise with agentic workflow automation. Together, we're eliminating the "dead air" in the leasing cycle—those hours and days where applications sit waiting for manual intervention.

Looking ahead

To start with I'll be leading AI initiatives at Verifast as the new VP of Automation.

Our growth is superb and through insights from Opsansa, including Intellectual Property around personal memory combined with our existing context, we'll be able to develop a much richer product catalogue for multifamily operators.

Providing a unified trust layer for renters and businesses is increasingly important. I'm very confident most of the next decade will come down to personalised product experiences; especially in personal matters.

Continuing to stay on the AI frontier whilst building delightful products comes with a whole host of challenges beyond just security, technology and context. That's the fun part…
